Webinar - Presenting the story of ENGAGE 2.0 - The European Parliament's Project Management Methodology

Project Management at the European Parliament (EP) celebrates a nearly 20-year-long journey. It was first introduced as PMME4P in 2003 and after multiple evolutions (WEM4EP, BPMEP, IPM4EP) ENGAGE was born and released, as a generic Project Management Method in 2016. Today, the ENGAGE methodology is the recommended approach for managing projects at the European Parliament and is proudly developed and supported by the Directorate-General for Innovation and Technological Support DG ITEC.

The European Parliament continuously seeks to improve its effectiveness and its efficiency when it comes to implementing its strategic and its operational goals. Over the past 6 years, the European Parliament has made a significant investment in this direction through the creation of the ENGAGE Project Management Methodology, and its establishment as the de-facto EP corporate methodology and organisation-wide promotion and support.

ENGAGE is based on well-established methodologies such as the European Parliament’s PMM4EP, the European Commission’s PM² as well as PMI’s Standard and the PRINCE2 methodology.
