Protect employees in a multi project organisation against overload and everybody will flourish including your organisation
Speaker: | Jan Willem Tromp
About the presentation: If you work in a multi-project environment as a product developer, engineer or R&D expert, then the notion of multi-teaming is probably familiar. Most likely, you have key people assigned to multiple projects at the same time. Planning and managing these resources efficiently is almost impossible. Key resources themselves are challenged with fragmented work, time pressure, lack of focus, amiguitym a constantly changing environment and, above all, dissatisfied project managers. These skill groups serve several projects in a non-deidcated way. They switch from project to project based on demand. They're betweem a rock and a hard place. In this presentation, Jan Willem Tromp will show you how resources should be managed in order to make multi-project environments successful. |

About PM Fair 2021: For more than 20 years, PMI Belgium has held an annual congress, the ‘PM Fair’, where prominent speakers of national and international reputation are invited to share their experiences and recent developments and future trends in the field of project management. This popular event is attended by over 200 PMI members, sponsoring organizations and other enthusiasts of the project management profession. Building on last year’s successful extension of the event to become the international Benelux PM Fair, we are pleased to announce the 2021 PM Fair with the participation of the chapters of Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Belgium. Going virtual enables us to extend the existing wonderful relationship among the different chapters and to expand our potential audience to over 2000 members. Last year’s event taught us that this was a successful cooperation which we want to maintain and improve. The circumstances did change in comparison with last year and that’s why we will approach this year’s event two-sided:
The congress will be spread over an entire week, from Monday the 4th of October to Friday the 8th of October. We intend to organize two online sessions per day, the first one at lunchtime and the second one at early evening. This way we can maximise the possibility for our members to participate at the online sessions. We will close the congress on Friday the 8th of October with an in-person closing session. |
