About the presentation:
Socio Economic volatility, overnight digital transformation, suddenly remote teams have challenged project managers to challenge the status quo. Today’ s teams are dispersed, diverse and virtual. But tomorrow’s team may not be so. A new survey suggests that at least 16 percent of employees will remain at-home workers long after COVID-19 recedes, which means we may move to a hybrid model. It is time need to think differently about our teams ! Collaboration is not optional – Collaboration is not only working together—it’s working with the team in a total participative organization, where team member should know they have a voice. The need for these new power skills might be even higher for virtual teams, when misunderstandings or miscommunication between team members working in different locales can fester into resentment or anger if left unaddressed. Keep the Customer at the centre Empathy for the voice of the customer. Teams need to keep the user’s needs in mind from the very start. Making consumer feedback the backbone of planning and execution will help teams stay on track to deliver meaningful value. Make Technology your friend AI, data analytics can also lighten a team’s burden when it comes to mining customer insights. BOTS to augment your teams to take care of the repetitive tasks. AND my favourite Agility all the way - Teams must be built with flexibility in mind. As roles and responsibilities are redefined for the day after, teams that embrace an all-for-one mentality will be best prepared to adjust on the fly."

About PM Fair 2020, the digital fair:
Firstly, for reasons that should be obvious to all, this year’s event will be virtual and not physical: we are going online. No physical face-to-face sessions are envisaged. Instead, the congress will be made up of a series of webinars, online workshops and master classes.
Whilst presenting numerous challenges, this also provides plenty of opportunities.
The congress will be spread over an entire week, from Monday the 28th of September, through to, and including, Saturday the 3rd of October. The intention is to offer morning ‘coffee time’ sessions, along with lunch time opportunities, and additional sessions in the early or late evening, thereby maximising the possibility for our members to participate, either in live webinars, or by accessing recorded sessions.
In addition, ‘going virtual’ enables us to extend our existing wonderful relationship with our friends and neighbours, and present PM Fair 2020 in conjunction with from PMI Netherlands and PMI Luxembourg.
