Satellite MODIS 5th of November 2019

"Better together? On how to make or break multi-stakeholder collaborations"

Climate change, food security, clean energy, pandemic outbreaks, … are just a few examples of today's global challenges. Such complex challenges typically cannot get tackled by a single organization, thus requiring different parties to join forces to find appropriate solutions by combining expertise and know-how in multi-stakeholder collaborations.

Multi-stakeholder collaborations have already proven a valuable concept to yield high-impact outcomes, not only for the parties involved, but also towards a wider community. Nevertheless, despite the huge opportunity, such projects are not evident to set up, nor manage.

During this PMI Satellite event, we want to use the community's collective brain power to reflect on key characteristics of multi-stakeholder collaborations, and explore how project managers can lead such teams to meaningful outcomes and partnerships that work.
