Dear members,

We hope you really enjoyed the end-of-year celebrations, In the name of the all the board members, we wish you all the best for 2019!!

2019 will be another special year as, on top of our regular chapter meetings and satellite events, we will celebrate the 50 years of PMI; the 20^th edition of our national Congress PM Fair and also the PMI Belgium Chapter has been selected to host the R8 LIM meeting where all the chapter leaders of 40 countries will meet to discuss and develop synergies and joint initiatives.

You are curious to know what has been prepared for next year and how you can take part of these as a member, participant, or volunteer?

Then join us for the General Assembly where the board will present the results of 2018 and also the vision and plan for 2019. We really expect to see a maximum of members during this event as it is an important process for our association.

• Retrospective 2018 and Financial results
• Thank you to all 2018 volunteers and board members
• Vision & plan for 2019 and presentation of new board members
• Our coutume for each NY event: A networking Game for creating a fun atmosphere

Numerous members have expressed the expectation that the chapter develops social networking activities. Therefore, for this event, you may also register for a guided tour of Leuven:

Leuven is a vibrant city with a lot of history, reflected in beautiful buildings and scenic streets, embedded in a small and cozy center. And it is also a major university city in Belgium that attracts students from whole over the world. For those who are not so familiar with this city, a walking tour of 1 hour will be foreseen, before registration of the General Assembly event will start in the hotel. The tour will be guided in English by one of our PMI volunteers, Etienne, who knows the city quite well.  Advanced subscription is needed. Please do it soon, as the number of participants is limited to 15!  Meeting point is at the big pillar in the middle of the Martelarenplein, just in front of the railway station. The tour starts at 17 h 30 sharp. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover a new part of our beautiful country!

The success of this initiative will depend on your participation. Carpooling is not only beneficial to those who do not have the convenient means of transportation, it is also a way to help our environment and to increase your network.
