PMI is evolving and introducing a new membership model designed to strengthen the connection between our global network and local chapters.
At the heart of this change is a commitment to deliver more value and connection for every PMI member by combining PMI membership and chapter membership into one unified experience.
This evolution will allow more members to join local chapter communities, creating richer opportunities for collaboration, learning, and networking.

What This Means for PMI Belgium Members
Automatic inclusion in your home chapter
From the start of the new model, PMI Global members whose primary address is in Belgium will automatically have PMI Belgium as their included chapter.
Residence-based affiliation
In the new model, the included chapter is based on your primary address. Members living in Belgium, even if they previously belonged to a different chapter, will have PMI Belgium as their included chapter. Members living abroad will have the chapter linked to their local residence.
Additional chapters as add-ons
From the start of the new model, members can purchase additional chapter memberships anywhere in the world as an add-on to their PMI membership, regardless of where they live.
No fee increases for the included chapter
The price of your PMI membership and the included chapter remains unchanged under the new model. Additional chapters, if you choose to add them, are charged at each chapter’s own price.

How to Make Sure You Do Not Miss Out on Your Benefits
To be included in the PMI Belgium Chapter under the new model, your primary address in your PMI account must be set to Belgium. You may use your work address as your primary address.
This primary address only determines which chapter is included in your PMI membership. You can still purchase additional chapters as add-ons, regardless of where you live.
How to verify your address
- Go to PMI.org
- Log in to your account
- Click on your name in the top-right corner and choose Account
- In the Personal Information tab, scroll down to Addresses
