Mentor Application
Mentor Application Form
The PMI Belgium Mentoring Program invites experienced project professionals to join our volunteer mentor community and help grow the next generation of leaders in our Chapter.
We believe that mentoring is one of the most powerful ways to advance both individual careers and the profession as a whole. As a mentor, you’ll offer practical guidance, share lessons learned, and create a trusted space where a mentee can turn goals into momentum. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your own coaching and leadership skills, gain fresh perspectives (reverse mentoring is real), and—where applicable—be eligible to claim PDUs under PMI’s CCR guidelines.
Before submitting your application, we strongly recommend reviewing the Mentoring Handbook and Mentoring Code of Conduct (available at the top of the Mentoring page). Mentoring is a developmental, one-to-one relationship—confidential, respectful, and purpose-driven. It is a volunteer role (no fees or compensation) and must not be used for solicitation or paid services.
What we ask of mentors (summary)
- Commitment to meet at least monthly during the program window (up to ~20 weeks).
- Alignment with PMI’s Code of Ethics and the Chapter’s Code of Conduct, including confidentiality, addressing conflicts of interest, healthy boundaries, and inclusive behavior.
- A coaching mindset: listen deeply, ask good questions, and help translate goals into next steps.
How your information is used
The details you provide will be reviewed exclusively by the Mentoring Program leaders and, where relevant, shared with your matched mentee to support a strong start. All other information remains confidential and handled in line with our GDPR.
Thank you for stepping forward to give back. Your experience can change someone’s trajectory—and strengthen our community.
