How are you coping now that we are moving hopefully to post corona times?
It has been very tough on us but I think as project managers we have all learnt some interesting lessons from this pandemic.
We know we are going to have to do things differently; we have to embrace the new ‘new’.
This is for us as project managers nothing new. We are constantly driving change and helping people to take a step into the unknown with their new projects.
The world needs to reinvent a lot of things right now. We are all going to work from home more often. The way we travel will change. Will we still want to shake hands or are we going to find other ways to greet people?
Digital transformation is now heading up to full speed, or should we call it the digital “revolution”?
Where do we stand in this new world and where do we go from here?
We, the PMI Board, have spent quite some time deliberating if and how to move forward with the PM Fair this year – whether to try and continue with the normal face-to-face gathering of 220+ people at a carefully selected venue, or to go virtual and hold an online event.
Finally, after quite a long waiting period, 2020 European Study Group finally started on May 28th in the form of a Zoom webinar, with a general presentation by one of the organizers from PMI Poland-Finland chapters. A renewed explanation about exams details, PMI rules and procedures regarding PMP certification requirements and other organisational aspects were the object of the first meeting.
