Allow me, on behalf of the whole board, to wish you a very Happy New Year 2022 for you and your family. May this year be pleasant to you, may you stay in good health.
It is my first message as President of PMI Belgium Chapter, and I feel honored for the opportunity you give me. Thank you.
Now let’s focus on this year… What do we prepare? Which are your expectations?
During our General Assembly, you will have the chance to meet and talk with the new Board members who will accompany you throughout the year ... It is a super dynamic team, with 200% motivation.
Join us during the General Assembly on 24th January and let’s have a chat about your expectations. What are you waiting from the PMI Belgium Chapter?
We know that we will still have to live with the pandemic. Unfortunately, we are not magicians to make this virus disappear. During our strategy workshop we identified good lessons learned based on these difficult years and we planned lots of activities that could be organized virtually and in-person. We will organize (depending on the health measures at that time) Chapter events and of course, our most expected PM Fair.
Arranging local meetings is also essential: you get quicker to the venue, you speak the local language, you meet new people located in your area.
These are reasons why we would like to increase member engagement by organizing events in your region. With this occasion, we are rebranding our“Satellite Events” into “City Events”. Have a look at our website to see the list of such events. You don’t see your city on the list? Take contact with the Board to discuss new opportunities.
Covid won’t stop us from our activities anymore, we will be active but respect the safety regulations. We won’t take any risk, your health is the most important.
Remind our mantra: by the members, for the members.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas or if you want to get involved as a volunteer. We aim to see our Chapter growing bigger and bigger.
A guided discussion about what it takes for a project manager to manage an IT project. We propose a discovery of the world of IT project management for non IT project managers. What is the required mindset, what are the skills to acquire? What is the entry ticket for a project manager to secure a successful move in the world of IT software?
