September has always been a month of quiet transformation. The lingering warmth of summer softens into the crisp freshness of autumn, golden light stretching across the days, while evenings invite reflection and comfort. It’s a season of balance, a gentle reminder that change doesn’t have to be abrupt. It can arrive softly, step by step, like the turning of leaves from green to amber, crimson, and gold.

Evolving Membership

This September, our journey takes on new meaning. We’re introducing a new membership model designed to bring more value, flexibility, and connection to our community. Every new feature and added benefit is a step toward strengthening the bonds that make our community thrive. It’s not just a structural change; it’s an invitation to grow together, to step into this new chapter with energy and purpose.

Walking for Awareness

Looking back, August set the tone for this journey. The Great Walk, led by Andrew Funk and Toby Plüss, was more than a physical challenge: it was a movement of solidarity. Together, participants walked 1 million steps — one for every homeless person in Europe. Each step symbolized awareness, empowerment, and hope.

Through this initiative, we demonstrated that project management is more than planning and execution. It is a tool for uplifting skills, fostering resilience, and creating meaningful impact in people’s lives. The walk reminded us that even the smallest step, taken with intention, can ripple outward to create real change.

The BeNeLux Summit 2025

Now, about a month away, our eyes turn to the PMI BeNeLux Summit 2025, happening October 10 at MECC Maastricht. With the theme “Project Management in the AI Era: Bridging Precision, Creativity, and Innovation,” the summit will gather minds and hearts ready to explore how AI can enhance our work while keeping the human touch central.

From the Pioneer to Innovator tracks, and with keynote speaker Christian Kromme, futurist and author of Humanification – Go Digital, participants will uncover how empathy, creativity, and strategic thinking remain irreplaceable, even in a world transformed by technology.

Preparing for the Future

September also marks an important step in our organizational journey: preparations for the 2026–2027 Board Elections. This is your opportunity to confirm the current leadership while also giving your voice to shape the future of our chapter.

It’s a time to reflect on leadership, engage with fellow members, and ensure our community continues to grow, innovate, and thrive. Your participation is vital. It is through your input that we can chart the course for the next chapter of our collective journey.
