PMI Belgium
Events

One of the Academic and Outreach team’s objectives in 2025 is to develop relationships with universities and high schools in the French part of the country.  We are starting full steam in a few weeks as we will attend the “Journées de l’industrie” on March 4th at the UCLouvain university in Louvain-la-Neuve.

This forum is organized by 5 university faculties with the purpose of bringing students in contact with hiring companies. It is the “place to be” for graduating students to meet companies is a perfect opportunity for PMI to promote our capabilities to students but also to companies eager to find contacts in the industry with Project Management knowledge.

As far as PMI Belgium chapter is concerned, our objectives for this event is manyfold :

  1. Promote PMI to the student community and make them sensitive to the integral approach that PMI is proposing. We had the opportunity to review the Project Management program currently proposed by Polytechnique et Louvain-School of Management (LSM) and are convinced that we have great added value on top of the current way PM is proposed to students
  2. Contact University Professors involved in Project Management who we have identified and with whom we could start a collaboration.
  3. Contact companies attending the event looking for ways to improve their project management skills. UCLouvain currently announces around 150 companies present for this fair. We are looking forward to successful meetings in all domains.

The event will take place on the Louvain-la-Neuve campus close to the auditorium Croix-du-Sud – Details can be found on the links below with the exact location.   Access is free for students, and anyone interested in paying us a visit there.
