Chapter Event: Achieve change with impact + Thesis Award
PMI Belgium constantly promotes Project Management to all stakeholders. This evening we will announce the winner of our yearly student award.
We will start the evening by sharing interesting insights from how to excel in change management.
Achieve change with impact
Erik Steketee from The Process Pros (CA) and De Processhoppers (NL) introduced the Prosci methodology to Belgium and the Netherlands. This is one of the leading change management methodolgies in the world that focuses on the people side of change in business. It provides a structured process and easy-to-use tools to prepare yourself for effective change implementation. Erik will give an overview of the methodology with best practices and lessons learned. From his years of experience, he will also point out the required competencies for a change manager that wants to achieve change excellence.
Student Award
The student award is a yearly price awarded to a group of students who prove in a thesis their project management approach for a project they did. Professor Mario Vanhoucke from the university of Ghent organizes this award. The different works are read by a number of PMI members who give their score. The overall best group gets the award handed over by our president.
With the Student Award PMI Belgium strives to promote Project Management in Belgian academics.
