On the 6^th of June we had a collaboration webinar with the PMI Portugal Chapter on Mentoring. During the webinar we learned that mentoring is not only about getting the PMI certification, but also much more and can be used when you want to develop your project management career.

At PMI Belgium Chapter we developed and introduced the GROW-program. In this program we want to match mentor and mentees together in several topics: getting the certification, helping in your career development, sharing knowledge and skills and best practices to handle different project management issues.

In the first 6 months of 2024, we had 2 online Grow-talk with mentors and mentees. During the Onboarding session of new members, the interest was raised to join this GROW-program. We are relaunching it again. Do you want to become a mentor or you are a mentee, don’t hesitate to contact us so that we can pair you with the right mentor or mentee.

Something NEW: GROW-Walk

A walk in the nature to connect mentors and mentees. Why a GROW-Walk? Being outside, in nature to regain energy, to talk on different topics, to assist mentees and mentors in sharing their experience, their knowledge to each other. Setting goals for the next upcoming 6 months: where do we go from here? What is needed? What can be a motivation? What can be blockers to achieve our goals? Becoming stronger by learning with others.

Saturday 20^th July  and Saturday 24^th August in Provinciaal Domein in Kessel-Lo from 10h30 – 16h
