Study Groups for CAPM and PMP
Study Groups are used by PMI chapters around the world as a way for members to support each other to prepare for an exam and we would like to try this in Belgium for CAPM and PMP. This is very similar to a joint study session you may see in a university where students are grouping in a class room to emulate and support each other.
Advantages of a Study Group
- Learn with others and support one another while studying (mutual emulation)
- Get answers to questions and respond to questions from others
- Share tips on learning techniques and remembering what is most important for the exam
- Opportunity to present a section of the course to others
- ...
Who to contact?
Group Facilitator
- For CAPM, you can contact Juan Raemdonck: juan_raemdonck@hotmail.com
- For PMP, you can contact Adeyemi Jinadu: adeyemijinadu@googlemail.com
How the Study Groups can work
- This will be a virtual Study Group which can meet online over skype and this will be facilitated by the group facilitator
- Between Skype meetings, Study Group members will be given the same assignment (eg: A section in the manual to review)
- One person will be nominated to give an overview of this section in his/her own words
- Members can then ask questions to each other and un-answered questions can be answered later
Who can participate
This is open to anybody interested in taking the CAPM or PMP exams
So if you have are interested in taking the CAPM or PMP exam, then this is an excellent opportunity to participate in this Study Group.
