What a day!

The #PMFair 2024, the annual event of PMI Belgium Chapter, happened last Friday 11 October at BluePoint Antwerp.

In today's world where technology and artificial intelligence is reshaping the landscape of our craft as project managers. It was time to go back to the basics. With the A.R.T. in project management, we gathered national and international speakers to talk about different areas in project management. Awareness, Rules, and Transformation by using different tools and techniques.

The PM Fair was not only about tools and techniques, but also about the importance of self-care in project management.

The organization of the PM Fair starts in January with a few volunteers brainstorming the theme, recruiting speakers, and finding a suitable venue. Each month, we achieve a task that brings us closer to the end line, to the day of the PM Fair itself.

The organization of the PM Fair is completed by volunteers who meet either at lunchtime or in the evening, depending on availability. Throughout the process, there's always time for laughter, especially when some issues require an urgent hand. Stressful situations were managed well by using the yellow-card technique from our PM Fair lady and president of PMI Belgium Chapter.
