• the first one focussed on the way volunteers engaged with the chapter but also with the broader PMI community, and how volunteers can propose their candidature on new projects. The Belgium Chapter really likes its volunteers and the board is going the extra mile to concretely recognise and reward them.   The experienced volunteers in the room have also shared their experience; it was really great to see how much volunteering provided returns in terms of developing your network, competencies and motivation.

• During the second part, the volunteer’s opportunities for 2016 have been presented. There are many opportunities for different skillsets and different amounts of available (aka required) time … During a breakout session each participant had the time to discuss more details with the board members and to engage in their new appointment as volunteer.

• The last part was really the celebration moment where the participants were invited to participate to a buffet to continue sharing their experience as volunteers and to initiate the next steps for each project.

That was a really great day, all participants enjoyed being there, we all really spent a good moment together.
