Day of the volunteers: 20 ^th of February 2016

PMI Belgium can only deliver thanks to the relentless effort of all our volunteers.

We therefore organize a "Day of the Volunteer" on Saturday 20 February.

It is a way of saying thank you by looking back, to move even stronger forward. We will share best practices and lessons learned on a variety of topics. And we encourage every volunteer to participate to the strategic themes we will work around. Join us in shaping the future of PMI Belgium. Learn how you can contribute, based on your skills and workload.

• 09:00 – Welcome address by the Director of Membership & Volunteering
• 09:15 – The added value of volunteering, how to become a PMI volunteer?, How volunteering can help with your CCR program?
• 10:00 – Overview of the Belgium Chapter volunteering needs
• 10:50 – Practical Explanation about the breakout session
• 11:00 – Breakout sessions – Explore & Confirm volunteer engagement

Explore various volunteering possibilities & Engage

• • Volunteering for Events: PM-Fair, National Events, Satellite events and special events – Anja/Stéphane
  • Volunteering for the promotion of project management in Belgium: Professional Development & Academic & educational outreach – Bernard/Jacques
  • Volunteering for the support to chapter activities: Sponsoring, Communication, Membership, etc… – Christoph/Guy
• 11:45 – Confirm your engagement as volunteer & plan your initial volunteer involvements
• 12:30 – Lunch & Networking
• 14:30 – Wrap up
• 15:00 – End
