Chapter Event Liege on PMO
PMOs’ future in an agile environment
In many debates of agile versus traditional project management the parties design a horror picture of the counterparts. And it does not stop there. The fight reaches the structural cornerstones of what just starts to become an organizational standard. And that is a landscape of PMOs that stabilizes the world of projects in an enterprise environment and links this to the ongoing business and strategic management, i.e. clear governance structures as required by shareholders. Agile approaches migrate into this discussion. With success? Strengthening or weakening the ultimate interests of corporates? Let’s discuss and find a progress in our understanding of this fascinating topic.
