Upon commencing my term as President of PMI Belgium Chapter, I harbored a secret ambition: to reignite connections with PMI Netherlands Chapter and PMI Luxembourg Chapter. This wasn't solely for nostalgic reasons, reminiscing about the prosperous era of our PMI BeNeLux Days, which was a series of annual congresses that brought together hundreds of project management professionals from across Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg. I also envisioned exploring avenues of mutual assistance. Perhaps our volunteers could collaborate on event organization, or there might be partnership prospects for companies with presence across all three countries.

Within PMI Netherlands Chapter new board members came on board and the president of PMI Luxembourg Chapter was newly elected as me.

Drawing upon our extensive experience from organizing the PMI BeNeLux Days over the years, particularly our annual congress in Belgium, which at its peak attracted over 500 attendees and generated significant revenue for local businesses, we initiated the first form of collaboration: lending support to the respective annual events, namely the PMI Netherlands Summit and PM Fair.
